Who does what when you book
We are an arranger, not an operator. When you ask for a private jet charter in Los Angeles, we gather your trip details and pass them to FAA Part 135 air carriers that hold operational control of the flight. Those carriers are responsible for the aircraft, the crew, dispatching, and the conduct of the flight. We do not own or operate aircraft, and we do not exercise operational control.
Our role is to match your itinerary to suitable aircraft and operators, present quotes, and coordinate the booking. The operator's contract governs the flight itself. You will see the operator's name on the quote and on the documents you sign.
Quotes are estimates until confirmed
Every price you see from us is an estimate. It is based on the aircraft, routing, and dates you provide, and it can change until the operator confirms it in writing. Rates for light jets out of the Los Angeles area typically run $3,800 to $5,800 per hour, and heavy jets $9,500 to $14,500 per hour, but those ranges are not a quote for your specific trip.
A quote can move for reasons outside our control: aircraft availability, crew duty limits, fuel prices, airport fees, and changes to your schedule. The operator's confirmed quote, not our estimate, is the price that applies.
Payment follows the operator's contract
Payment terms are set by the operator, not by us. That includes the deposit, the due date, the accepted payment methods, and any balance due before departure. We will point you to those terms before you commit, but the operator's contract is the one that binds you.
Some operators require payment in full at booking; others take a deposit and the balance closer to the flight. Read the payment section of the operator's contract carefully, because the terms vary from one carrier to the next.
Cancellation and changes
Cancellation and change policies come from the operator. They commonly involve a window before departure during which changes are free or carry a fee, and a later window where the full charter price may be owed. The exact terms, including any weather or mechanical exceptions, are in the operator's contract.
If your plans change, tell us as early as you can. We will relay the request to the operator, but the operator decides whether a change is accepted and on what terms.
Taxes, fees, and what the price includes
Charter prices are subject to federal excise tax and to segment fees and other charges assessed by airports and authorities. These are itemized on the operator's quote. Some quotes include crew overnight costs and landing fees; others list them separately. Ask us to walk through the line items if anything is unclear.
Fuel surcharges can also appear, and they may be adjusted by the operator. We do not set these charges and cannot waive them.
Limitation of liability
Because the operator controls the flight, the operator is responsible for its safe conduct. Our responsibility is limited to arranging the charter and passing accurate information between you and the operator. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, diversions, or injuries caused by the operator, its crew, or events outside our control.
Any liability we may have is limited to the amount of our arranging fee for the trip, to the extent permitted by law. The operator's contract contains its own liability terms, and you should read them before booking. Nothing here overrides the operator's contract or applicable law.
